Our Tutor Stories

We believe our job goes beyond just teaching content or helping students prepare for examinations.

We care very much for our students well-being and have the higher purpose of inspiring them not to give up and enjoy learning.

Our vision is that our lessons are so engaging and interesting that students don’t feel like it’s a chore to attend class.

Moreover, we hope to become friends that our students can share their challenges with.

Then, they will know they are not alone in this journey.

“Such human connection is much more important than teaching content religiously and keeps you motivated even when you feel burned out. Being a tutor is not all about academics or teaching students only. Students are teachers too and ultimately no one knows everything. Viewing tuition as an exchange of ideas between tutors and students will allow everyone to learn something new each session.”

“It is never the grades that the students produce, nor the praises their parents give you for helping them, but the small, but sincere gestures that show that they are a little more encouraged, a little more empowered, and a little more interested in the topics and subject as a whole.”

Maretta Simon, Chemistry Tutor

“My hope is that I will be able to inspire my students to enjoy the subjects that they come to me for help with. If they find more appreciation and enjoyment in the subject, that would be a class which I consider a success.”
