Why I tutor
Teaching tuition is one of those rare jobs where you were in the exact shoes of the person you're teaching. I think that sense of empathy and understanding is why I was drawn to teach, to help others in ways that I would have found helpful when I was doing the IB.
Teaching style
I teach the way that I'd want to be taught! I very much believe in leading by example and providing students with a model for applying their answers, be it through essay planning or source-based questions.
Impact on students
I hope that they feel seen and encouraged, that the IB feels like less of a herculean task and more of a learning opportunity for future parts of life.
