Why I tutor
I tutor in part because I how much of IB, law school, and now full time work as a lawyer depends on someone quietly demystifying what initially feels opaque. It seems only reasonable to pass that on, especially since the clarity I rely on now was, at some point, borrowed from others.
Teaching style
I approach each student as requiring a slightly different method, rather than assuming a single way of teaching will suffice. Over time, that means adapting what I know to what actually works for them, rather than the other way around.
Impact on students
Besides an improved grade, I hope my students take away an appreciation for the subjects we tackle together, but also an attitude of realising that what they learned is directly applicable to real life :)
