Why I tutor
I enjoy tutoring because it lets me help students not just understand the syllabus material, but genuinely start to enjoy the learning process itself. By meeting each student exactly where they are, I get to build their confidence one lesson at a time, so they walk away with not just knowledge, but confidence they can carry well beyond the subject.
Teaching style
I adapt my teaching style to each student, whether that means introducing new material or working through past papers and question booklets together. To me, the most important part of tutoring is understanding each student's individual needs and shaping every lesson around how they learn best.
Impact on students
I want to start by understanding each student's own goals for the IB, whether that's hitting a target grade, building a deeper conceptual understanding, or simply exploring the subject further out of curiosity. From there, my aim is to prepare them as thoroughly as possible to reach that specific goal, so every lesson feels purposeful rather than generic.
