Why I tutor
I was lucky enough in my DP2 year to find tutors for some of the subjects I was struggling with- at the time, I believed I was strong conceptually, but struggled with exams. Working with these tutors helped me truly enjoy these subjects and understand concepts in unique ways that I could comprehend.
Teaching style
I believe I am a tutor who is interactive and understanding of students' learning style and pace. I ensure to adjust my own teaching style according to their needs and requirements. Furthermore, I work with the belief that scoring in IB is not much more than pattern recognition; I hope to help students understand past paper patterns and question formats such that they are prepared for exam environments and know what to expect.
Impact on students
I hope that students stop looking at the IB programme like a chore, and fall in love with each of the subjects the same way I did- I believe students perform best when they enjoy the subjects and become genuinely passionate about it.
