Why I tutor
IB has been an amazing and very fulfilling journey for me, and I have never regretted even a single second of the effort I put into the curriculum. Hence, I would like to pass on my passion for IB to my juniors, enabling them to enjoy this journey and the curriculum to the fullest. Additionally, I want to help my juniors get the most out of the curriculum and understand each concept taught in IB deeply and thoroughly.
Teaching style
My teaching style is interactive and engaging, where I use my iPad to explain concepts by drawing them out or writing them down. After every topic, I like to give my students an IB past paper topic-specific booklet to solve, followed by IB-style worked examples at the end of each class. I also share videos that I personally found helpful while studying IB for extra support, and I love talking and engaging with my students throughout the class.
Impact on students
I want to make my students genuinely fall in love with the IB curriculum and take an interest in learning, not just for grades but for the joy of learning. I want them to see IB as something they can have fun doing and manage, rather than an insane, never-ending workload. By sharing tips on how I approached the curriculum, I hope to make their IB journey just a little easier and studying feel more natural and less like a job.
