Why I tutor

As a student tutor who just sat for the IBDP exams, I enjoy tutoring because I can share not only my subject knowledge, but also the study methods and experiences that helped me throughout my own journey. I find it very rewarding to see students grow in confidence and achieve their goals, and that's what motivates me to continue helping others through tutoring.

Teaching style

My teaching style is very technique focused. Apart from going through the necessary content, I prefer focusing on breaking it down into key ideas, strategies, and short forms that help students tackle examination questions more effectively. I place a strong emphasis on exam techniques as I believe they form the foundation needed to do well in the subject! I also love giving plenty of practice questions as I feel that consistent practice is essential for real improvement and confidence in the subject.

Impact on students

I hope to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking for help and know that they are not learning alone! I want to go beyond a purely teacher-student dynamic and be someone they can approach easily when they need guidance. I also aim to help them achieve their desired results while making lessons engaging and manageable, so they leave each session feeling more confident rather than stressed or dreading the next one.
