Why I tutor
Looking back at my time during the IBDP, one reason that kept me going was having a strong supportive system from my teachers and friends. And all the while, I found joy in working together with my peers in finding our way around the maze of IBDP. I hope that by tutoring, I will become not only a teacher to my students, but also a friend for them to rely on when things get tough!
Teaching style
I believe that acing the IB relies strongly on how well we understand what the examiners look for, and there's no better way than actively learning from practice questions! Teaching students, I will usually walk through practice papers with them. From there, I clear up misconceptions, clarify confusions, and provide tips for students when faced with similar kinds of problems.
Impact on students
I hope that my students are able to walk away with a stronger sense of confidence as well as enjoyment and excitement for learning, be it in the subject I am teaching or any other aspects in life!
