Why I tutor
Hi! I'm Rijul, an IB graduate and currently a Physics major at NUS!. I'm passionate about tutoring because, as someone who didn't have a tutor throughout the IBDP, I understand the benefit of being guided by someone who has been through the journey. I also enjoy helping people learn; it's a very rewarding experience, I believe, for both the tutor and the students.
Teaching style
I teach through real-world connections and by asking students questions to help motivate them and help them come up with the concepts rather than just memorising them. I often use study materials beyond the IB to build conceptual understanding.
Impact on students
I hope to help students feel more confident in Physics and Mathematics—subjects that often intimidate them—and foster an environment where students are curious, enjoy the subject, and improve their performance.
