Why I tutor
Tutoring not only serves as a way by which I can impart my experiences and insights reaped from my schooling years to help juniors in their studies but also prompts me to exercise my acumen in communication and discretion in how I approach different topics and students. I also tutor as I seek to help every student find joy and meaning in the subjects they study, so as to enrich their journey in education and make it a more enjoyable process.
Teaching style
I believe that students learn best when they reason from first principles and structure my classes around visual proofs and animations, drawing links to real world examples when applicable. I encourage students to articulate their chain of thought explicitly so as to optimize their thought processes in terms of efficiency and clarity.
Impact on students
It is my sincere hope that all students find purpose in the subjects they study and that they would be inspired to go beyond the textbook and explore the subject out of a genuine interest for knowledge.
