How you'd teach
One-to-one and small-group lessons, online or face-to-face; a standard lesson is 90 minutes. New students reach you as trial offers on Telegram, or admin pairs them with you.
How you're paid
A set amount per lesson, for every lesson you teach that month, paid by PayNow. We go through the full rate card with you on the call.

The One Flow
Understand, engage, enjoy.
Subject mastery is the entry ticket, not the job. These three are what we assess on the call, in this order of difficulty.
Understand
Answers that are memorised fall apart under exam pressure. We teach until the concept holds on its own.
Engage
A student who is bored is not learning, however good the explanation. Keeping someone with you for 90 minutes is a skill, and it is the one we interview hardest on.
Enjoy
The goal is a student who walks out appreciating the subject more than when they walked in. Grades follow that. They rarely lead it.
The interview call and demo lesson
One call, about 40 minutes, in two parts. If you're shortlisted, we arrange the time with you after your application is in.
Teach us something
Pick any IB topic you like and teach it to us as if we were your student. We are not testing how much you know. We are watching how you hold attention, how you check for understanding, and whether the person in front of you actually wants to keep going.
Conversation
Why you want to tutor, why here, and how you plan to teach. Bring the real answer rather than the polished one. We would rather hear how you would handle a student who has given up on a subject.
How to prepare for the demo lesson
- Ask more than you teach. A question makes the student do the thinking; an explanation lets them sit back.
- Never assume they understood what you just said. Nodding is not understanding.
- Clarify, then test it. Get them to explain it back, or apply it to a slightly different question.
- Choose a topic you genuinely like. Enthusiasm is visible, and it is half of what we are looking for.
- Teach it to a person, not to a room. Twenty minutes is short, so pick something you can take from confusion to understanding in that time.
- Do not prepare slides. A whiteboard, paper, or nothing at all is completely fine.
After the call: accepted
We add your email to our sign-in list and email you. You then set up your account yourself (website and Telegram), sign the tutor agreement, add your subjects and availability, and we match you with your first student.
What happens once you're acceptedAfter the call: a training round first
Strong subject knowledge with engagement still to build is common, especially for first-time tutors. If that is you, we offer a session with a senior tutor, then a second demo. Plenty of our tutors came in this way.
We arrange this with you directly after the call. There is no cost.
Apply
Your details, the subjects you'd teach, a few short questions, your minimum rate per class, and four confirmations. Read the confirmations carefully: they are the terms of working with us, and we check them at onboarding. Only shortlisted candidates are contacted.
